Dear Friends,
We continue receiving letters from camp parents along these lines:
"The best summer of Abe's life. The knowledge he came home with about the environment, Judaism and social issues is invaluable. He felt relaxed, understood and loved. He is counting the days until he returns!" —Rachel Tore
This past summer, Eden Village Camp proved itself to be a powerful force in shifting the lives of our campers in positive directions, creating a safe and inspiring home and providing tools for our young people to create a more sustainable, joyful Jewish community and world.
We're a nonprofit organization and offer as many scholarships as we can, but as of now, the need for financial assistance for our campers' families is much greater than our ability to provide it.
Please donate to the Eden Village Scholarship Fund so more young people can benefit from connecting deeply with nature, each other, themselves, and this amazing Jewish tradition of ours! Every donation makes a real difference. If someone else you know may be able to support us in this way, please pass this email along.
Please share this wonderful slideshow with anyone who may be interested!

Dates and rates for this summer's sessions are posted on our website. We have an early registration discount of 8% until the end of Tu B'Shevat, January 20th!

From the Eden Village Kitchen
Easy, shockingly tasty, nutrient-rich Kale Chips!
You'll need:
—one bunch kale (organic if possible)
—olive oil spray (optional)
—salt & pepper
- Preheat the oven to 350.
- Get pre-washed, pre-chopped kale and remove the stem pieces. OR, get it in a bunch and wash it, remove stems, and chop it into two-inch pieces like you would a salad. (Try to make the pieces the same size so they cook at the same rate.)
- Put it in a big bowl and toss it with olive oil, then salt and pepper.
- Spread it out in two big baking dishes in a single layer, and bake for seven minutes. Turn the chips over and bake for 3–7 more minutes. When they're crispy and the edges are just beginning to brown, you have a delicious alternative to potato chips! Savor and enjoy!
Your generosity and support keeps our vision alive and strong! Thank You.
